Product Description
Nucleic acid contamination and RNase scavengers are a pair of reagents that contain components that can degrade high-level DNA and RNA contamination on all types of surfaces, and remove RNase on the surface. They are designed for experiments such as PCR and RT-PCR.
Liquid A and Liquid B are both non-toxic. After mixing, they will form an effective and short-lived mixed liquid, which works in contact and rapidly degrades high-level contaminated DNA and RNA on the surface, as well as RNase. It can remove many kinds of surface pollution in a few minutes. They will quickly degrade the nucleic acid contaminants and RNase they come into contact with.
The RNA incubation experiment has verified that this method can effectively remove the 1 U RNase A in the 1.5 ml centrifuge tube.
Precautions
1. After some surfaces are treated with this product, yellowing is normal.
2. The principle of this product to eliminate nucleic acid and RNase pollution is contact degradation. If the nucleic acid and RNase still exist after using according to the instructions, you should consider whether the product is not in contact with the real source of pollution.
3. When using this product, wear appropriate protective glasses, clothes and gloves.
4. If your experiment is more sensitive to residual metal ions in the environment, you can additionally use 1 mM EDTA pH 8.0 to spray the treated surface, and then rinse with nuclease-free deionized water.
5. Since the complete toxicity of the aerosol mixture is still unclear, do not spray these two solutions at the same time.
